Botox

We recently met with the urologist and he indicated that using botox injections around the bladder is an option we have for Hunter. He has been on Ditropan for the past 3 1/2 months with cath'ing, but we are still having wet diapers and so we increased the amount he was receiving which increased his vomitting.

Has anyone else gone with this option or are you considering it?

My son recently had botox shots in his bladder and after 6 weeks we went for urodynamics and it was not a success.  Now the doctors say they are at an end of options and want to do a bladder augmentation. 

I've heard that this procedure is still fairly new and the results are high.

I don't have personal experience with this, but I hope someone else will comment.  I've heard some really good things about bladder augmentation.

Haven't had experience with it..yet...Logan has been on a higher dose of ditropan pil since Christmas, and she is still leaking also..it's so frustrating!!  SHe wants to wear panties, but sometimes I cath her and she will be soaked an hour later!!    And her pee really stinks...anyone else?
